LE TABOURET D’OR ANNOUNCES PRE-LAUNCH OF LUXURY AFRICAN FASHION E-BOUTIQUE

Dallas, Texas, November 2, 2011 — Le Tabouret D’Or, LLC., a luxury African fashion e-boutique,  announced today the pre-launch of its luxury retail site, Le Tabouret D’Or (www.ltdo.co). Le Tabouret D’Or will offer a curated selection of the top African fashion designers with editorial content woven throughout the site and online magazine. The site will also offer insights on how modern African fashion can seamlessly meet the West. The site currently features a preview of the e-boutique that is set to launch in January 2012. Until the launch, customers can get to know the e-boutique on its Facebook page and Twitter feed.

Le Tabouret D’Or was founded in 2011 by CEO, Serwaa Adjei-Pellé. The site will launch with top designers Deola Sagoe, Christie Brown and Kachi Designs.

Working directly with the designers, Le Tabouret D’Or will ensure only the best pieces are featured. Although these designers have shown in top runway shows and outfitted celebrities they have not been available to the mainstream U.S. market until now.

“For as long as I’ve lived in the U.S., people have loved my African clothes,” explained Serwaa. “Whenever they asked where they could get my outfit, I would tell them my tailor in Ghana made it. The reality is that African fashion just hasn’t been accessible to people living in the U.S. With the emergence of African inspired and ‘Tribal’ collections on the runway, the U.S. market could only stand to gain from Le Tabouret D’Or sourcing African fashion directly from the continent’s designers.”

Keep an eye out for updates leading up to the e-boutique’s launch in January. Until then, Le Tabouret D’Or is offering Priority Access to LTDO.co a week before the official launch. Invite friends to gain Priority Access and earn special purchase credits along the way. For more information, please visit LTDO.co.
