JOHANNESBURG FASHION WEEK 2011: FAST TRACK DAY 1 - MINETTE MEYER

JOHANNESBURG fashion week 2011 started with the fast track of fashion graduates showcasing their designs, the upcoming designers that took part in the event were Kutloano Molokomme, Melita Ngoasheng, Minette Meyer, Nadine Holloway Jessica Sutherland, Lebogang Moatshe, Pride Nkosi , Sunette Scheepers Anja Bredell, Laura Kass, Nkululeko Msibi, Phumzile Langa, Chantelle Nascimento, Nkoshikhona Nkala, Portia Moruthane and Sello Medupe they all impressed me with their unique designs, and this convinced me that they have more creative talents to showcase their work at the Johannesburg fashion week 2011.

Minette Meyer

Minette Meyer graduated top of her class at Hyde Park-based Spero Villioti Elite Design Academy. Her autumn/winter 2011 collection is again lovely pieces, I love the use warm autumn colours, I particularly loved the use of feathers to create a unique look and it looked great on the models.
