Aisha Oboubi of Christie Brown’s label launched her new boutique a couple of weeks ago with images captured by British Ghanaian and emerging photographer Charlene Asare - Casare. The launch gathered Accra’s hottest fashionistas from all over the world, with the likes of the ever fabulous Anita Erskine, Phyllis Sasu, ReneeQ, and the gorgeous style Icon Lady Edwina Banda (Love this woman) just to name a few in attendance.

Christie Brown’s elegantly decorated boutique, and trendy interior decoration is located in Accra Osu, so all you CB lovers whenever you are in Ghana make sure you pass by and grab some of these delightful neck pieces.  You all probably know how much I adore this young entrepreneur by now, as I constantly feature her work. I first discovered Christie Brown’s work back in 2007, and I knew from that day that her work will not be one of those designers they launch today and you dont here of them ever again. Christie Browns designs has been  growing from strength to strength, I remember the night she won the emerging designer of the year award in 2009 which proved that she was here to stay, I am pleased to see Christie Brown developing a sustainable business. Although we dont regularly hear successful stories from the creative industry in Ghana compared to Nigeria and South Africa, Christie Brown is to be celebrated, her humility and creativity continues to put Ghana in the limelight.
