African Print Fabrics: Gypset Galactic Weekender Clothing Collection

Freelance journalist Julia Chaplin came up with the name Gypset , the new brand whose name is a combination of “gypsy” and “jet set,” debuted its Summer 2011 collection at the LA store last week. Julia Chaplin, created collection inspired by the ’80s and a traveling bohemian. The Galactic Weekender collections are a wearable extension of the Gypset lifestyle. The pieces includes vibrant African prints fabrics which of course we love the most about her work.

Main picture: Basquiat sarongs (various patterns) – African fabrics finished with bright, 80’s acid-color trim, use as a towel, beach cover up, bathrobe or lounging attire.
