AFRICAN INSPIRED PRINTS: MARNI FOR H&M 2012 BEHIND THE SCENES

Versace for H&M has not even sank in yet and now another designer collaboration? I thought H&M mentioned that it will be a once a year affair? Any I am not complaining as Marni for H&M 2012 will be one to look out for as I was not excited about the Versace for H&M collections at all. The label announced the news today and released images of behind the scenes and low and behold I spotted a model in African prints, now that is what I am talking about.   If you are a fan of H&M get ready for this and even better if you love African prints then I guess you will see me in the queue on the eve of the launch. The collections consist of full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knits in an array of both African-inspired prints and softer colour blocks, at affordable price as usually Marni’s clothes highly priced retailing from £500 for a dress and above. I will be reviewing the collections and hopefully feedback to you all in 2012 immediately it is launched!
