Bunmi Koko launches its new website along with the much awaited online shop. The new site is modern and chic and demonstrates the brands aesthetic in the luxury market. The online shop carries the brand’s luxury women’s ready-to-wear, scarves, small leather goods for men and women as well as the upcoming United Nations World food Programme (UNWFP) products to be launched in July 2011 and the following months thereafter.

The online shop sees the launch of some of the more commercial looks from the current Spring/Summer 2011 Matriarchy collection, such as; graphic tribal printed baggy tops, silk tanks, fringed leggings and printed scarves. The new small leather goods sees the introduction of the ultimate accessory; a classic double-sided flat cardholder in calf leather. This is available in two colours, scarlet red and chocolate brown, inspired by some of the key colours in the Matriarchy collection with a unique contrast leather lined feature.

The United Nations WFP products will consist of products for both men and women, such as Limited Edition range of T-shirts, scarves, Laptop sleeves, Ipad sleeves and Iphone cases. The scarves and the Apple products accessories are all made in Bunmi Koko’s signature print from the new Autumn/Winter 2011 Kaleidoscopia collection, whilst the men’s range of Apple accessories are made in perforated leather with a neon contrast base in orange. The first of the products to be launched will be the T-shirts in July and the Apple accessories to follow shortly after.

Additionally the online shop has a Sale Section, which shows the last of the popular pieces from the Geisha’s Reform collection with pieces reduced by 50%. The new site and online shop is a great transition for the brand and shows great efforts and the vision of driving the brand forward into a luxury global lifestyle brand.

Bunmi says, “It has always been our dream to create a brand that is universal and not aimed solely at one group of people. With the development of the new website and online shop we wanted our customers and fans to get to know the brand better, as we have developed an interactive Help section on the site where all their questions can be answered. We want our customers to be satisfied and have a pleasurable shopping experience. We have taken into account the current demands of the e-commerce world with the introduction of Like functionalities that link to your Facebook page and services like free standard delivery on all orders and a Premier Priority Service for same-day deliveries within London Zones 1-3 as well as express courier services for deliveries outside of the UK. We are really proud of the work that has gone into it and what’s left now is to start shopping!”
