RUNWAY REVIEW: AFRICA FASHION WEEK – CHRISTIE BROWN “TALENSI” SPRING/SUMMER 2012

Head creative director of Christie Brown label Aisha Oboubi, revealed yet once again her creative talents to fashion enthusiasts, buyers and industry experts during the Africa Fashion Week  show in Johannesburg at the Sandton Conventional centre. Christie Brown “Talensi” collection was a balance between conservatism and modernism, the range consisted of pencil skirts, Maxi dresses, cocktail pieces and trench coats. The colour palette were nude tones and rich blues, with touches of African prints merged with vibrant neon colours. Christie Brown is an inspiration  to Ghana and emerging African designers and she sure is heading towards a successful career.
