Akpos Okudu designs are about clothes women LOVE to wear, WANT to wear and CAN wear. This collection was inspired by everything from the designer’s cocktails, to the colourful lorry’s she sees all around port Harcourt (where she lives) to even the colours of her rusty generator.

The 2011 spring summer cocktail hour collections, is a mix of vibrant colours, and textures, which has been combined to create clothes that are fun, feminine and chic. In this collection, Okpos Okudu tried their hands at something different, so they decided to shoot two lookbook. The two part lookbook had one shoot dedicated for the out-Dorsey girl and one for the girl who will rather sit in a pretty bar and have a cocktail.
