Recently I read a book called Gentlemen Of Bacongo, it sure was an interesting read, it gave me an insight into what the Bacongo’s men style was all about. The book was written and photographed by Daniele Tamagni and i will recommend it again and again. It highlights the African dandies who believed in smart over the top bright coloured clothes which led to a society called Société des Ambianceurs et des Personnes Élégantes. A club for elegant individual who have a taste in the finest things.  I honestly admire the Sapeurs, in the midst of poverty, style will be the last thing on other people’s mind, but the Bacongo men believe in their style and this goes to show that money cannot by style its all a state of mind.
