American based Nigerian Designer Olatide Adeniyi launched her line in 2009 in the U.S and held a re-launched event in her hometown Lagos, Nigeria in the spring of 2011. She has had the honor to showcase her designs at AFWNY (Africa Fashion Week New York) and feature on the front page of the Style section of the Washington Post last summer. She debuts her new spring/summer collection of which she describes as ’Playful, flirty and fun with a hint of subtle glamour’. The collection stays true to Editalo’s style making use of high waistlines and full skirts incorporating traditional fabrics with modern-day silhouettes.

i am 21 yrs and an aspiring fashion designer and i have just been going through the designs posted here. i think we share the same vision because i think african material has not been explored enough and there is still a lot of room for new designs…people should appretiate these trial prints and the likes more an i am working hard to achieve that goal. you are doing a great job…love, lirra
