After the blazing success of previous years, Afro Hair and Beauty LIVE show once again was held at Business Design Centre Islington, London on Sunday 29th and today Monday 30th May 2011. The Afro hair and beauty live show in its 30th year continues to promote diversity and talents within the African/Caribbean community. As a naturalista it was the perfect place for me to learn all about how to take care of my natural hair, discovered the newest hair products, salons and online shops to purchase products and overall networking with these companies were great. Designers, hair stylists and makeup artists from around the globe came to showcase their talents and offering one off discounts, while visitors were entertained by musical performances on the stage and competitions, such as Battle of the Barber, the ‘Emerging Fashion Designer Show’ which showcased the latest talents within the African/Caribbean community was my personal favourite. If you missed the show yesterday, dont worry you have another chance to catch it today from 10am.
